Cast Iron Dutch Baby with Apples

The puffy baked pancake has sweet, thinly sliced apples and savory bacon throughout. Dust this skillet baked breakfast dish with powdered sugar and drizzle with your favorite maple syrup and you are in for a perfect start to your day!

Step 1: Melt butter in cast iron skillet.   Arrange sliced apples in bottom of skillet.

Step 2: Sprinkle chopped bacon on top of apples.

Step 3: Blend together eggs, flour, milk, salt, and sugar. Pour batter over the top of bacon and apples.

Step 4: Bake for 30 minutes and carefully remove from the oven.

Step 5: Generously dust with powdered sugar.

Step 6: Slice into four pieces and serve with maple syrup.  Enjoy!!
