Brown Butter Brown Sugar Maple Glazed Cookies

These cookies are crunchy on the edges, chewy in the middle and have a perfect maple glaze on top.

Ingredients Needed: butter brown sugar egg yolks vanilla flour baking powder cinnamon salt

Step 1: Brown the butter and then add it to the bowl of your mixer to cool.  Then add brown sugar.

Step 2: Beat until light and fluffy.

Step 3: Add egg yolks and vanilla and mix until combined.

Step 4: In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.  Add to butter mixture and mix until combined.

Step 5: Using a small cookie scoop, portion out dough onto a parchment lined cookie sheet.

Step 6: Roll each ball of dough in sugar and place on cookie sheet.  Bake at 350° for 11-13 minutes.

Step 7: Combine powdered sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, and heavy whipping cream in a bowl and stir with a whisk.

Step 8: Dip the tops of cooled cookies in the glaze and transfer to cooling rack until glaze hardens.
