This Cast Iron Dutch Baby With Apples is a great breakfast that is sure to impress! The puffy baked pancake has sweet, thinly sliced apples and savory bacon throughout. 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and cut into 1-inch pieces
4eggs
¾cupflour

1 tablespoonsugar
1teaspoonvanilla
¼teaspoon salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Melt butter in 10-inch cast iron skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes or until fully melted and beginning to brown. Remove from heat.

Lay apple slices in the bottom of the skillet, covering the bottom and overlapping slices a bit. Sprinkle bacon over the top of the apple slices.

In a blender, combine the eggs, flour, milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Blend until flour is fully incorporated, scraping sides and bottom as needed if flour sticks.

Pour egg mixture over the top of apples and bacon. Place skillet in 425°F oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top. Remove from oven, let cool for 2 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
