Ingredients
  

For the Dressing

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon grated white onion
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • ½ teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove minced

For the Salad

  • 2 tablespoons dehydrated onions
  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 bag seasoned sweet potato fries cooked according to package instructions
  • Romaine lettuce washed and chopped
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Cherry tomatoes halved
  • Dill pickles chopped
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions
 

Make the Dressing:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, chili sauce, ketchup, onion, relish, pepper, and garlic until smooth.

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or up to 1 day) to allow flavors to blend.

Prepare the Salad:

  • Place the dehydrated onions in a small bowl, cover with water, and let them soak while preparing the rest of the salad.

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Drain excess grease if desired.

  • Meanwhile, cook the sweet potato fries according to package instructions.

  • Divide the lettuce among 4 shallow bowls. Top with warm ground beef (sprinkle cheese on immediately if you want it slightly melted).

  • Add tomatoes, pickles, drained onions, and sweet potato fries (either on the salad or on the side).

  • Drizzle with dressing and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
